To be considered for
conference presentation, all presenters are required to submit an
Abstract, Bio, Release
using the following guidelines:
- Presentations must be provided
to the Technical Program Chairs no later than the specified due date
on the Checklist.
- Presentation title reported in
the Abstract, Bio, Release
shall be identical to title of final presentation.
- Overt selling or "vendorizing" of products
or consulting services in presentations is prohibited.
- Abstracts shall identify the goals/objectives
of the presentation in a way that generates interest to an audience
of Configuration and Data Management professionals.
- The conference structure
shall provide 30-minute segments, including an adequate question and answer period.
- Presentations shall be limited to the time allotted.
- Indicate any additional handout
material required other than the presentation.
- Indicate any additional visual
equipment needed for your presentation.
- Distribution to attendees of
your presentation shall be provided on CDs at registration.
- Conference Proceedings:
- Every conference attendee will receive a CD containing all presentations upon registration at the conference hotel.
It is
very important that presentation materials are submitted by the
required deadline so the conference proceedings can be prepared in
sufficient time for distribution to all attendees at the conference.

- Presentation Materials:
- Presentations should not exceed 30 minutes in length. Presentations are required in
digital form using Microsoft PowerPoint to the appropriate conference
Technical Program Chair as indicated
on the Checklist.

- Presentation Time and Location:
- Technical Program Chairs allocate presentations to tracks
and sessions to suit program needs. For planning purposes,
presenters will be notified of this allocation in advance. Requests
for special allocations will be considered provided they have
been received by the required date.

- Audio-Video Equipment:
- A podium, microphone, computer, video projector, and screen
will be provided for technical sessions. Presentations will
be loaded on one computer to facilitate conference programming.
- Discount:
- Conference presenters receive a significant discount from the
registration fee. Be sure to register early to qualify for the
special conference discount rates.

- Vendorizing:
- Exhibitor product or service information should be announced during an introductory statement
made to attendees prior to a presentation. Presenters shall
refrain from mentioning their products or services in a commercial
sense during presentations.
