Ms. Gisele Crawford, President, ARMA International. A 25-year veteran in the Records and Information Management (RIM) profession, Gisele Crawford has been with the City of Edmonton since 1981 where she provides internal consulting to City Departments, develops policies and procedures and provides RIM training. Her versatile RIM background includes record analysis and design; records retention scheduling; disaster/vital records planning and protection; electronic records management; micrographic operations; imaging and records centre management. She is currently serving as President, ARMA International. |

Daniel H. McCurry II has
over 19 years of diversified experience in the fields of Configuration
and Data Management, first with Hughes and McDonnell Douglas
Helicopters, and since 1989, at Boeing where he was assigned the
responsibilities of Configuration Management and Audits for the 737 and
757 Commercial Airplane programs. For
the past 7 years he has been recognized by government and industry as an
authority in the development of Configuration and Data Management
Standards.
His
contributions to these disciplines encompass his active participation in
the
line">National Defense Industrial Association, Technical Information Division, Executive
Board since 1996; and served as Chairman since 1998. He has presided as CM
Chairman of the Association of Configuration and Data Managers since
June 2001. He has also served as the Vice-Chair of the
line">Government Electronics & Information Technology Association,
G-33 committee for the 2000/01 and now serves as the Chairman since
September 2001. Dan
participates as an executive board member of the GEIA Systems Standards
and Technology Council.
Dan has been heavily involved
with the GEIA in generating Industry Standards such as the revision
effort on ANSI/EIA-649, Configuration Management Standard, and has also
provided valuable support to the EIA 836, CM Data Dictionary standards
effort. He
is an active member of six American Society of Mechanical Engineers Y14
Engineering Drawings Practices Committees. |

Teresa Vaughn’s career
spans more than 18 years in Configuration and Data Management. Ms. Vaughn
has been with Northrop Grumman, Information Technology for over three
years. Ms. Vaughn is currently the project manager for the Configuration
Management task for the Clinical Information Technology Program Office.
Prior to Northrop Grumman, Ms. Vaughn provided Configuration
Management support for a variety of tasks including the Internal Revenue
Service, DoD Health Affairs, and the Food and Drug Administration, the
Marine Corp. H-53 Helicopter, and the Tactical Training Ranges Program for
the Navy. Teresa has been CMII certified since 1994. She was awarded the status of Certified International Configuration Manager by the International Society of Configuration Management in 1996. She recently received certification as a Configuration and Data Manager by the National Defense Industrial Association. She has been a member of the ACDM since 1995. |

Steve Konieczka is President and Chief Operating Officer of SCM Labs, a leading Software Configuration Management solutions provider. An IT consultant for 14 years, Steve understands the challenges IT organizations face in change management. He has helped shape companies methodologies for creating and implementing effective SCM solutions for local and national clients. Steve is a member of Young Entrepreneurs Organization and serves on the board of the Association for Configuration and Data Management (ACDM). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Colorado State University. |

Dick Carlson is an active advocate of configuration management and software process improvement with 20+ years experience (in aerospace and private industry). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland, is a certified Configuration Manager by the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), has a SCM certification from the System Technology Institute, and is an active member of the Software Engineering Institute. Dick is a "SCM Activist and Evangelist", been an active ACDM member since 1994, and has held the ACDM office of VP Education for more than three consecutive terms. Dick educates and mentors software engineers and practitioners on meaningful SCM practices (and supports lean and agile SCM practices), software requirements management and development, managing software projects, and software process improvement. |

Gary McManus has been with Raytheon Company, a leading government contractor for 19 years. He has worked in both Hardware (12 years) and Software (7 years) Configuration Management. Gary is currently providing Software Configuration support to the Theater High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) portion of the National Missile Defense program. He works in the Bedford Massachusetts facility where hi is the SCM Team Leader. Gary holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northeastern University. He has recently participated in a series of Assessments which have resulted in his business area of the company being awarded a Capability Maturity Model (CMM) rating of Level 5. Gary is currently supporting an effort to attain a Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) rating of Level 3. He has been a member of the Association of Configuration and Data Management since 2001. |

Cynthia C. Hauer has a BS in Computer Science and 21 years experience in the application of information technology to large-scale government and industry projects. She holds certifications in configuration and data management from both the Institute of Configuration Management and the National Defense Industrial Association. Cynthia is also pursuing certification in the records management discipline, as well as certification in the contracts field. Ms. Hauer is the current Data Management Chair for the Association for Configuration and Data Management, and is also the Industry Data Management Chair for the NDIA Technical Information Division. She has authored and presented over 50 technical papers on configuration and data management over the past twelve years. A practicing Configuration Management and Data Management professional, Ms. Hauer is now president and chief executive officer for Millennium Data Management, as well, in Huntsville, Alabama – a small, woman-owned business. MDM was founded in 1999 to provide high-end Data Management services, consulting, strategic asset planning, and solutions development. MDM currently provides consulting and training services to an international client base, from very small organizations to Fortune 500 firms, across a broad spectrum of data applications in Europe and the Pacific Rim. Ms. Hauer has a special interest in intellectual property contracting issues, and how the area of intellectual property continues to impact the ability of Data Management policy and practice in building trading partner and contracting relationships with high technology firms. Her work is in the policy and guidance end of Data Management, as well as the application portion. Presently, Ms. Hauer is leading a team of industry and government professionals in the development of a new industry consensus data management standard, GEIA-Standard-859, currently in balloting (as of December 2003) and slated for release to the public for use in early 2004. Shortly thereafter, GEIA-859 will also achieve American National Standards Institute (ANSI) status, as well. |

Ram White is the ACDM President. Ram joined the
Integrated Support Systems engineering and technical services staff in
1996, bringing to ISS over thirty years of diversified management
experience in engineering, operations, and logistics.
He worked 12 years for McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Systems (MDHS), in Mesa, Arizona where as manager of the Configuration Release and Control, Ram was responsible for the configuration management of drawings, documents, and data for the hardware and software components, on commercial and military helicopter programs. He also held positions as Logistic Engineer, Program Manager, and CALS Manager during his twelve years with McDonnell Douglas. Ram served 21 years in the U.S. Air Force as a fighter pilot, instructor, and program manager. He has been an active adjunct faculty member of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, instructing management, history, computer science, and flight physiology course. Ram holds a Master of Science Degree in Systems Management from the University of Southern California, has a Configuration Manager Certification from the American Defense Preparedness Association (ADPA), and is a Certified International Configuration Manager by the International Society of Configuration Management. Ram is currently presiding as President of the Association of Data and Configuration Management (ADCM). He is an active member of Society of Logistics Engineers (SOLE) and APICS - The Educational Society for Resource Management. |

Alan E. Lager is an Engineering graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology, and has been a leading industry Configuration and Data Management spokesman for over thirty years. Alan is currently the Electronics Industries Alliance (EIA) Team Leader for EIA Standard 836, Configuration Management Data Interoperability. He was the team leader and principal author of ANSI/EIA 649, National Consensus Standard for CM, and he also authored MIL-HDBK-61, Configuration Management Guidance, and a Data Management Handbook under contract to DoD. Alan is a past chairman of the EIA's Government Electronics and Information Technology Association (GEIA) G-33 Committee on Data and Configuration Management, was Annual Conference Chairman, and served as Panel Leader 12 times. He represented industry for many years on the DoD Configuration Management Advisory Group (CMAG) and Data Management Advisory Group (DMAG). Alan was Vice-Chairman of the CALS Industry Steering Group Configuration and Data Management Task Group, served on the National Defense Industry Association (NDIA) CALS Executive Planning Committee, and was a Track Chair at the October 1997 and 1998 CALS Expos. |

Bryan Oldham is Auto-trol Technology's KONFIG CM Product Manager. He has 17 years experience in business process reengineering, systems design and program management in the commercial and government sectors. Bryan has assisted clients with configuration and data management issues and systems for 11 years. |

Rob Stone has been a Systems Analyst with Professional Systems Associates, Inc for the past 4 years, where he helps clients leverage Information Technology to manage their configuration and data management requirements. Rob has over 10 years experience in the Information Systems industry in IT operations, network engineering, database design, business systems analysis, and application design. Rob has a B.A. and M.S. in Business Information Systems from Utah State University. |

Beth Carlock is an Account Executive with Integrated Support Systems in their Business Development group. Beth joined ISS in 1986 where she has served in a variety of positions, from Oracle DBA to Manager of the SLIC Product line (ISS's Supportability Database and Toolset), before settling on her current position of advocate for using current technology to make Product Data available to all who may need it or contribute to it. Beth has already presented papers on this topic at the Joint-Government/Industry Supportability Information Exchange (J-GISIE) Symposium in Huntsville in 2001, and SOLE/International in 2002. Beth holds Master's Degrees in Linguistics and Computer Science. |

Tim Ruzbacki has been involved in Process Engineering and Configuration Management for 13 years. While serving as Project Manager and Configuration Manager during his early IT career with General Electric Information Services, Tim helped create an in-house Configuration Management System. He was responsible for helping move GEIS to level 2 CMM by championing the Software Configuration Management KPA, and received training in Software Quality Assurance and Six Sigma. Tim has managed multi-million dollar projects, and helped lead a Global CMM Process Improvement effort at Ford Motor Company and most recently completed three years developing and directing an enterprise configuration management practice for a national consulting organization. Tim has spoken on CM nationally most recently at the 2002 and 2003 National SEPG conferences, the 2002 Project Leadership Conference, the 2002 Software Technology Conference, the 2002 International Conference for Software Process Improvement, and many association groups across the south and northeast in 2001, 2002, and 2003. Tim is preparing for more speaking engagements representing MKS in 2004. |
