ACDM's 14th Annual Technical and Training Conference (March 23-March 25, 2009)

ACDM's fourteenth conference year will again bring together some of industry's most noted CDM professionals from commercial and government business sectors to discuss and share best business practices. This year, the emphasis is on the future: where are CM and DM headed, and how will they evolve to support enterprise architecture and become the key processes for business success - at the project, program, and enterprise levels of organizations. For each organization, there are unique needs - the disciplines of CM and DM are flexing today to meet those needs. Our keynote theme is "enterprise" - with the same life cycle emphasis that has become today's focus. "Tomorrow" must address how CM and DM support information technology, wiki environments, and federated and centralized data systems inside organizations - while also addressing the commensurate value and structure to data and business processes that they have provided for the past 50 years or more. Our workshop theme will also address key processes that are needed for this evolution, as well as an identification of elements of strategic and tactical CM and DM and how they are applied to resolve challenges in providing thought leadership to our organizations.

The conference continues to be designed entirely by CDM professionals on a voluntary basis, making it a highly productive platform for technology and product-focused industry events. We continue to concentrate on winning ideas, proven methods, best practices, and real applications of CDM strategies. Attendees gain direct insight from leading organizations and individuals through panel discussions, presentations, keynote appearances, and from networking. The major conference sessions revolve around highly interactive discussions in a warm and friendly "town hall" meeting style. Following this year's conference, we again have arranged for CDM-related training courses and certification opportunities. More information about Post-Conference Training activities will be added soon.
