The Association for Configuration and Data Management (ACDM) provides Configuration Management and Data Management Practitioners a forum for the exchange of ideas and information about the profession. Launched in the early 1990s, ACDM has consistently kept its membership abreast of the constantly changing and expanding role of the configuration and data management professional.
Todays global economy fueled by open markets, globalization of resources, and its increasing pace of technological change has created world-wide commerce that shares and exchanges information, products, and money in real time and online with few boundaries. The competitive edge of an organization today is dependent upon continually making the right information available to the right person at the right time, all the time, anywhere in the world. Effectively providing dependable information in a rapidly changing environment is the challenge faced by CM and DM methodologies and principles.
ACDM offers a basic membership, as well as Sponsorships, and assists its members in meeting this challenge by providing the network to pose questions, obtain answers, and document solutions in the growing Data and Configuration Management Body of Knowledge.
